Coenzyme Q10, also known as ubiquinone 10, is a lipid soluble quinone with a structure similar to vitamin K. It is named after the polymerization degree of the side chain at the sixth position of its parent nucleus, polyisoprene, which is 10. It is a quinone ring compound that can promote skin metabolism, inhibit skin lipid peroxidation, and has a more significant nourishing and activating effect on the skin than vitamin E and vitamin B.
